The late zookeeper was nicknamed The Crocodile Hunter. He achieved fame all over the world for his television series, which ran from 1996 until his death. The world was in moaning when he passed away due to a stingray injury in 2006. However, his zoo in Australia – Australia Zoo – lives on thanks to his wife and children. There is no better way to celebrate Australia Day than watching one of his shows! His enthusiasm and love for animals are infectious. We would also recommend reading up on all of the incredible work that he did in his life for animals.
